Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream Review

    Snail secretion is now the "it" ingredient in the cosmetic industry nowadays. It claims to heal and repair skin. Most Korean makeup and skin care brands' got something to bargain the market. 

    I was longing to have a skin care product containing snail secretion but I always had second thoughts because normally these products are expensive. I found out about this product on hellogorgeous17 's online shop on Instagram a couple of months ago. And what decided my shopping nerves to do the move is its price.    Mizon's Snail Recovery Gel Cream comes from a wide range of products from the Multi Function Line of Mizon. It is the fourth step if you purchase the whole line. Since I am using other products for my nightly skin care regimen and aside from the fact that this is the cheapest from the line, I decided to order just this gel cream. I first apply my reliable Argan oil as moisturizer and this one afterwards. I don't know why Mizon called this gel cream. It is just a gel for crying out loud! I only use this product at night because my nightly regimen is focused on moisturization and hydration. This is packed in a simple pink box with a hologram sticker to ensure the authenticity of the product. The tube, looking same as the box, has a foil sticker inside to guarantee that it is new and not tampered. The gel contains 74% snail secretion filtrate. It feels sticky upon application but dries within minutes. It is also unscented and paraben-free. It is recommended for all skin types. This gel targets to: care for skin troubles, improve fine lines/wrinkles, help in pore elasticity and management, provide sleek skin texture, promote skin elasticity, and strengthen skin.

   I use this gel mainly for anti aging, hydration, healing of pimples and pimple scars. I am using this for 5 months now and I have noticed a significant improvement on the lines on my forehead and pimple scars. The lines are gone (hell yeah!) and the old pimple scars are gone ans some almost gone. Of course you have to be very patient on observing its benefits on your skin. I have a fair skin so pimple scars are a burden because it is VERY visible and this gel helped me erase some of them that's been residing on my face for ages. Usage-wise, you just need 1 pea sized (or smaller) to cover your entire face. I suggest you use this nightly (and religiously). Just a thin layer is recommended because it may get sticky even when dry. I also apply some on my neck. Of course I don't want my neck to sag.

   I have no regrets in purchasing this product because it helps me resolve some of my major skin problems one step at a time. It delivers what it promises to do unlike other anti aging products readily available in the market that are pricier. If you are in need of an anti aging and moisturizing skin care product, this may be the one you are looking for. A 4.5 out of 5 for this baby!
