Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask Review

Blackheads and visible pores are a big problem to a lot of people especially to us ladies. It is hard to find a product that really works to fight those two. I have found a good wash-off mask that worked for me. It is Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask.

Skinfood's Egg White Pore Mask claims to penetrate deeply into pores to remove pore clogging oil. It contains albumin that helps firm the skin and reduce pore size. This product is stored in a sturdy plastic tub and contains 100g of product. Ingredients and description about it is written both in English and Hangul. The product's consistency is comparable to a whipped cream so i use a pack brush to apply it. It has a scent same as the Rice Wash-off Mask.

I lost my sd card so I don't have before and after pictures anymore ๐Ÿ˜ฃ. I first experimented with this mask on my husband's face because he's got more blackheads and bigger pores than me. I applied it on his face for 1 week and it effectively reduced his pores and the big blackheads on his nose were gone. So this mask worked for him though he still preferred the Black Sugar mask.

PROS:
- reduces pore size and blackheads
- a little amount goes a long way
- safe for sensitive skin
- reduces oil production
- easy to remove
- dries easily

CONS:
- a bit pricey when purchased at a Skinfood shop (PhP 615)
- doesn't remove small blackheads
- scent

Overall, this mask is suitable for any skin type. It is effective and lives up to its claims. It doesn't dry skin at all so people with dry skin type will surely benefit from this mask as well. I will give this wonderful mask a 4.5 out of 5 rating!!!

  1. I'm not really a fan of Skin Food since I find their products way too expensive for my budget. For something a bit pricey for a product, I wish it works effectively well since there are other cheaper ways to reduce blackheads & pore sizes.

    1. I agree Miss Vance...Skinfood is pricey here so I prefer ordering online. It saves me like 200 pesos or more depending on the item and online store.

  6. I have constant blackheads, too, and I found Himalayan scrub to be more effective than nose strips. I'd love to try this but I find it too expensive! :D

    1. I would suggest trying Queen Helene Mint Julep mask after exfoliating and toning Miss Marie. It's cooling effect makes you feel relaxed while working out those blackheads that were left behind.

  7. Laughed a bit reading you got your husband to test it first. My husband is also like that, he often complains of his calloused hands and dry skin and demands for lotion and body wash.

  8. The scent is always a factor to me when it comes to face masks, lol. I know some would say that it's better if it's unscented or something but I always find it more relaxing to use masks with lovely scent.

    1. The scent of this mask (i think) does not suit the product with egg white as main ingedient. But I had no choice but to bear with it hihihi

  11. Wow, this is the first time I've seen this product. At first glance I though, egg white lang for cooking. Which would have been perfect for me because I make French Macarons and I just need egg whites! :p

    1. Mommy i would suggest making exfoliation a part of ur weekly beauty regimen. Don't forget to use a toner afterwards. A weekly egg white mask is a good alternative to this product. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  14. Skin Food is quite an expensive brand but I loved their previous Gold Caviar line, as well as their nail polish shades. I haven't tried pore minimizing products before. I might try the egg whites muna haha

    1. Thanks for reading Miss Shalene! Gold Caviar line is one of their best buy products and I agree with you it is pricey especially here in our country. Milk mask is also a good alternative mask to egg whites. It firms and brightens skin.

    1. From my experience Miss Badet, mas ok mamigay ng sample ang skinfood stalls (like sa Fairview Terraces) compared sa stores. You can check ebay.ph for some samples ng mask na to. As far as I can remember may isang seller na nagtitinda ng sample packs.
