Nature Republic By Flower Water Tint Review

Just 2 more days 'til V-day and today's gonna be part 2 of my lip tint review. The spotlight is on Nature Republic's By Flower Water Tint (#2 & #3).

The Water Tint is one of the many By Flower lip products by Nature Republic. This is also the most affordable one in the bunch. It costs roughly 160 pesos (as far as I can remember). This is available in 3 colors: Watery Red, Watery Pink, & Watery Orange. I bought the pink & orange one only since I'm not into red tints. It is stored in a sturdy transparent plastic bottle and has a doe foot applicator. Only the product's name is written in english and the rest are in korean. The consistency is very watery to the extent that it goes to my teeth when I'm applying the product. So better remove the excess product off the applicator before you apply it on your lips. The tint is buildable and pigmented for such type of tint. The color can easily be seen with one or two coats. Make sure to let each coat dry before applying another. The pictures above are the results of 2 coats. It dries fast. It is recommended to apply a lip balm after this because this can dry lips (but not in a way that a matte lippie can). You can also see the quantity of product left in the bottle. One thing I don't like is that during the first coat, it seeps down to the lines of my lips. So there's a need for me to apply 2 or more coats. I haven't dared myself to use a lip primer with this tint because of its watery consistency.

PROS:
- affordable
- pigmented despite of its consistency
- buildable
- color lasts
- packaging

CONS:
- very watery consistency
- kinda drying

Overall, I like this tint very much. It is affordable and gives me the results I want. This is highly recommendable for ladies who wants to own a lip tint without worrying about the price tag. A 5 out of 5 for this magnificent tint!!!

Skinfood Real Fresh Tint Juice Review

Valentine's Day is just around the corner so for this week I will be featuring 2 lip tint brands. I'm sure you ladies want to look extra special for that special day. So let me start the week by sharing my thoughts about Skinfood's Real Fresh Tint Juice.

I bought my 2 tints separately. One was at a Skinfood store for I guess almost 700 pesos and the other one online for 450 pesos. I was attracted by the super cute packaging so I couldn't help but try it and of course lip tints are my weakness so it ended up on my shopping basket. This is btw, my first orchid/purple shade tint. The product is contained in a juice bottle-like container with a doe foot applicator. It has a semi watery creamy consistency. It is pigmented and u can achieve the right color with 2-3 applications.

Above are pictures of the product when applied and removed. I like the result of the colors on my lips. The product doesn't dry lips. And has average staying power after eating or drinking.

PROS:
- buildable color
- doesn't dry lips
- very cute packaging
- travel friendly

CONS:
- expensive
- average staying power

Despite of its cons, I would still wanna try out other shades. This tint is very suitable for starters or those girls addicted to cute stuff. I wouldn't recommend this to girls who hates doing touch ups. Overall, I will give this ultra-cute tint a 3.5 out of 5!

Etude Rosy Tint Lips Review

Hello dearies! Today's review is way overdue because the product I will share with you has been released a year or so ago. It is Etude's Rosy Tint Lips. This tint is one of Etude's bestseller and one of my favorite product from the said brand. If you have been reading my blog, you could say that this freak's addicted to lip tints. Oh yes I am! I prefer tints than lipsticks. I dunno. Maybe I find it easier to use. Well, whatever, let's just get on with the review.

Swatches of the product. I would love to have #8!
Directions on how to use the tint in 2 ways, gradient and full.

This tint is available in 8 shades. The ones I have are #'s 4,6, and 7. I am planning to buy 1 & 8 soon. I just love the red and burgundy shade of those two but I did not prioritize buying them because I prefer nude and pink better. The product is contained in a plastic tube with a sponge tip to make the product glide on lips easily. It is creamy in texture. Creamy when applied and dries into a matte finish. To be honest, I don't know why this product is categorized as a tint because the texture is almost the same as Nyx Soft Matte lippies (which I super hate btw). What I love about this tint is that it is very pigmented and doesn't dry my lips throughout the course of wearing it. The dryness effect on my lips occur after removing it though. But it is not as awful as Nyx. There are some negative stuff I have to say about this Etude tint though. One, the cap of the 2 pinks I have are loose. I had to place them very carefully inside my bag. Two, you won't have a clue how much product is still left inside. Three, it is a bit expensive for almost 500 a tube.

Despite of the negative stuff, I still love this product and will still purchase 2 more. If you are a fan of matte lippies, you will surely love this one. My verdict: 4 out of 5!

Holika Holika Pure Mellow Moisture Tint #4 Review

Hello dearies! This product I will review today is Holika Holika's Pure Mellow Moisture Tint. This is one of the 2 products I have from this brand. I have this tint since last summer. I bought this one due to a "No Lip Tint In My Purse" emergency and I was standing outside the store that time.

This lip tint is available in 4 variants- pink, orange, coral, & red. The one I have is red (#04). Each bottle contains 9.8 ml of product which is quite a lot compared to other tints I have. It is stored in a sturdy plastic bottle with metallic colored background. It says that this tint was inspired by mini multi-colored marshmallows to create long-lasting moisture and color witha creamy formula.

Tints are normally have watery consistency. Their formulas and results vary. One will usually use a lip balm or gloss on top of it for lips to stay moist and/or shiny. This particular tint is different from other tints I have. This tint feels like you are wearing a tint and a balm. It is not called Moist Tint for no reason. The pictures shows what it looks like on my hand and lips. On my hand, if you will zoom the picture, the tint appears shiny red. In actual, it is more reddish purple. Not the usual red variant for a tint. On my lips, the color does not appear the same the one on my hand. Thanks to my celphone camera. But the difference can be seen from bare lips to 2 coats of the tint. This particular shade is pigmented and the result can easily be seen with just 1 coat. You may opt to have up to 3 coats as long as you make sure the previous layer's dry before reapplying. It lasts after eating and drinking. As you can see the color is still visible after washing my hand with soap and water. I can't remeber how much exactly this one costs. I guess it was 300 sumthing pesos.

PROS:
- long lasting
- contains a lot of product
- pigmented
- affordable
- moisturizing
- does not make lips dry
- can be worn without lip balm or lip gloss
- lips stays soft after removing the tint

CONS:
- other shades may not be as pigmented

This lip tint is by far the best one I have so far when speaking of its benefits. It is like a hybrid of a tint and a balm in liquid form (becauss some brands offer tint balms in stick/solid form). Ladies with fair to dark skintone will surely have something to pick out of its 4 shades. This product can replace 2 products in your makeup kit. Since the color lasts, you don't have to worry much about touch ups. A great product deserves a 5 🌟 rating!!!!

Etude Color Pop Shine Tint Mini Review

Hello December!!! Done with your Christmas list? I haven't finished mine yet. Still thinking of something to add. Today, here's something you may want to add to your list. Something cute and handy. Something affordable. Something you can wish to be given to you during your office or school Christmas party as a gift. The one I am talking about is Etude's Color Pop Mini Tint!

According to the Etude House website, the Color Pop Shine Tint is a 3-in-1 magic gloss tint that glides on in a perfect combination of smoothness and shine, with a lip stain formula that provides a vivid color and long lasting shine. This tint was first sold in 7g size. I am not very certain when Etude released the mini version. The regular sized ones cost PhP 478 each and the mini ones at PhP 148 each. I am not a fan of this tint line from Etude before the minis. Because aside from the fact that I find it unreasonable for my budget, I already have the Fresh Cherry tints. I was offered the mini versions by the ever-friendly people at Etude SM Fairview because they knew how addicted I am to their lip products. They knew the lip care shelves were the first one I will check out. At that time I was on a limited budget so this was a perfect thing to offer me.

The packaging of both regular and mini tints are the same simple white bottle with doe foot applicator. The mini has this cuteness factor and budget-friendly appeal that convinced me to try it. PhP148 is reasonable enough to say it is affordable based on Etude tints' price range of 300-500 a piece. These tints are available in a number of shades (as shown in the picture above) I just tried half of it. They are so tiny the 3 bottles I have can fit my small palm. The ones I bought were in shades of pink and orange. The orange is a vivid orange one. The pinks looks almost the same but have different effect on my lips. P10 is lighter and more natural while P9 is a bit deep but not vivid pink. These tints (again) may or may not appear exactly as the swatches in the stores. It is advisable to try them out on your lips (just do it properly, do not directly apply the doe foot on your lips as they are testers) not on your skin. It does not guarantee to have the same effect on your lips. Prove it yourself! The idea of applying it on your hand only won't give you a 100% guaranteed result. These tints are buildable. A swipe or two is enough. Size...it is small yet considering how pigmented these cuties are, you don't have to worry that it easily ran out. It stays on your lips in a subtle way after eating or drinking. Price... affordable right? So with a PhP300 budget you can have 2 shades of your preference instead of just 1. When you run out of your favorite shade buying (without breaking your budget) is a breeze. These tints are not that drying on the lips but I always apply a lip balm once the tint dries so my lips are always moisturized. The color does not fill or set on the lines on my lips after eating. It fades gradually.

PROS:
- affordable
- cute and very handy
- many shades to choose from
- pigmented
- available in stores
- not drying on lips
- not sticky

CONS:
- not long lasting

The Color Pop Tint minis are suitable for teens starting to wear lip colors and for the ladies who want to try out different shades of tints without worrying about the price. This is a nice gift suggestion don't you think? Just try out the testers first and remember the code of our preferred shade *evil tempting grin* before you add 'em onto your list okay? These little cuties deserve a 4 out 5 score!

Etude Fresh Cherry Tint Review

Today I will share with you my review about Etude House Fresh Cherry Tint (red and hot pink). These 2 are the very first ones I own because I always envy those Korean actresses' cute pink lips and was hoping to achieve it. This review is like way overdue because I had these two for quite sometime already. According to Etude's website, this tint promotes moist and shiny cherry lips with a creamy smooth texture.

This tint comes with a box when you purchase it. This is available in 4 colors: red, soft pink, hot pink, and peach. They also have 2 limited edition colors: orange and purple. It has a doe foot applicator to apply the product with. Its texture is somewhat watery and has a fruity scent. Please note that tints (and lipsticks) may or may not appear the same as the swatches. Honestly, I am not sure if it is caused by ones lip pigmentation, acidity, or genes. That is why I usually buy lip colors in the stores to personally try it out first instead of relying on pictures. The Fresh Cherry Tint costs PhP 348 a piece when you buy it in stores.

Above are the swatches of the 2 shades I have, red and hot pink. They look entirely different on my hand and on my lips right? I applied the pink 3 times so the color will show (like I mentioned, don't just rely on pictures) and the red twice. The red looks a bit pinkish on the picture but it is actually cherry red. When applying it more than once, you must wait for the first coat to dry up first so the next layer will easily blend and build. I apply 3-4 coats of the pink one whenever I use it so that it will appear really pink on my lips. I always apply a lip balm or gloss on top when the product's dry so that my lips will feel moist. The red shade can compliment any skin tone unlike the hot pink. Note that I am referring only to this line of tint. The 3rd picture is after washing with soap and after eating and drinking. The shade I have on my lips there's red. As you can see, the tint is still visible on both lips and hand. You can swipe just once when doing touch-ups and you're good to go.

PROS:
- lasts for 2-3 hours after eating/drinking without touch-ups
- buildable
- dries fast (if you want 2 or more coats)
- a bottle can last long
- affordable
- can be easily used on gradient lips
- size is travel-friendly

CONS:
- quite drying on lips, needs lip balm/gloss on top
- the cap cracks
- not very pigmented

I use these tints when I don't want so much fuzz on my look and have no time to carry a make up kit. I can easily apply it on my lips without standing in front of a mirror. I would recommend this tint for ladies who are looking for a basic lip color product and girls starting to build their make up arsenal. Again, note that the results may vary depending on ones lips. I will always have to say that. There are many lip tints in the market waiting for me to try so I have no plans of repurchasing this line again. My score for the Fresh Cherry Tint is a 3 out of 5!!!

The Face Shop Aqua Proof Marker Tint (No. 2 Pink)

The Face Shop store at SM Fairview has been there for ages. From looking at the outside of the shop, it is not as inviting as Etude with its bright lights and girly aura and happy accommodating staff (I will feature Etude House Fairview soon I just love the staff there). The product I will review today is the first product I bought from Face Shop. I just felt the urge of trying out one of their lippies since most of my lippies are from Etude. The sales lady immediately offered me the Aqua Proof Marker Tint when I said the magic word "tint". She said this tint is one of their best sellers. At first I was hesitant to purchase anything there because I don't like the vibe. It is somewhat gloomy and the prices of their products are a bit more expensive compared to Etude. Sorry for comparing the two too much. I just can't help it.

The picture above is how the product looks like. It really resembles a marker we use at the office and school. The design of the product is boring but the felt tip applicator is a plus. This tint is available in 2 shades only- red and pink. The store doesn't have a red shade available so I have no idea how the shade appears like. This tint is a waterproof type of lip tint. As you look closely at the bottom part of the marker it says "I'll protect you from water".

I have applied 3 coats each on my hand and my lips 30 minutes prior to writing this entry so it will be fully dried and absorbed. That is how it appears on my hand and lips. I like the how the pink appears to be- not too light and not too vivid. Just a "just kissed" pink. I use this a lot when I am in my "look I have no lippie" mood because it just looks simple and clean. I like this pink compared to some of my pink tints here (don't worry you will meet THEM all soon). This tint made my dream of having a Korean pink lips a little possible or should I say achievable. I always dab a lip balm on top to make it glossy and moist. This tint is not as drying as a matte lip product because of its consistency but wearing a balm or gloss is recommended. Now in terms of its waterproof claim...NAH! It is not waterproof at all. Looking at the picture above, I have applied 3 coats 30 minutes prior to writing and washed it with a hand soap and water (a very little scrubbing) and see how it appears to be almost gone. That is how disappointing it is. I expected a lot on that part.

PROS:
- pigmented
- light consistency
- very easy to use
- not messy
- not that drying compared to matte lippies

CONS:
- not waterproof as claimed
- expensive
- available in 2 shades only
- label/print is very simple and boring to look at

I recommend this product to teens who just want a cute pink or red flush on their lips and to ladies who wants a no nonsense lip tint. A 4 out of 5 for this baby!

PeriPera Magic Glam Tint Frozen Edition (Anna)

Are you a Frozen fan? Today's review might interest you or your daughter (if you have one). I will be talking about PeriPera's Magic Glam Tint Fozen Edition (I'm Happy Kristoff).

It is one of e five products of the Frozen Collection. This tint is available in 2 variants- Let It Go (pink) and I'm Happy Kristoff (orange). This is my first ever lip tint that I bought online so I have no idea how it'll appear on my lips. I have no plan of buying the other stuff on the collection. I'm not a heavy makeup user. To be honest I don't know how to use a liquid liner nor  an eye shadow. I only have Anna's color because that's the only one available when I purchased it at margaritashop_korea.

Here is a closer look how the product looks like. I already threw the box. Just Google it if you want to check it out. Anyway, as you can see the doe foot applicator is kinda different from other applicators. There's a tiny whole in the middle. Also it is a bit bigger than any other applicator I've used. There's the usual stopper at the top of the tube and the manufacturing date stamped below.

Here's how the tint appears to look like when applied on my hand and lips. The top photo is how it appears with and without flash and when I wiped it off with a tissue. Notice that it is orange when it's applied on my hand even I wiped it off. Even after wiping it still looks glossy. Below is how it appears like on my lips. I don't know why it looks like fuchsia pink in the picture BUT it was really orange. On the left part it was a very faint orange (I applied 2 coats) and the right was almost (like super almost) orange to think I applied 4 coats on that. I just don't know how come it didn't turn out the way other swatches look like. I guess it's my lips.

PROS
- the color is still there even after eating and drinking (just a hint of color ok?)
- not that drying compared to other tints that I have
- buildable color though not that pigmented
- cute packaging (hello???)

CONS
- the color did not turn out to be that orange on my lips
- has that orange flavored medicine scent
- a bit pricey
- available online (and in Korea)

I don't know if I should or shouldn't buy the Elsa themed one. I'm just too disappointed with this one. But I'm not blaming the poor tint. I have learned my lesson never to buy a tint without having to actually test how it'll look like on my lips...lips not hand because in my case it's NEVER reliable. I give this baby a 3 out of 5.

Skinfood Fresh Fruit Tint Gloss Review

Happy Halloween guys!

Welcome to my little space. This is my very first entry and today I will be reviewing my new acquisition for my tint family- Skinfood's Fresh Fruit Tint Gloss Banana tint.

I received this baby today courtesy of one of my fave sellers on Instagram- hellogorgeous17. She sells korean stuff at a reasonable price...and I mean REASONABLE! You will soon find out why.

I am a bit of a sucker for organic or nature friendly beauty stuff and Skinfood's one of those brands which offers makeup and beauty products made from natural products. I fell in love with this tint when I was scouting for a concealer. The saleslady asked me to try it out and I instantly fell for it. Unfortunately I did not purchase it right.away because I find P600+ pricey for a tint. Since I am addicted to online shopping I asked my friend/seller hellogorgeous17 to scout how much it costs in korea. And it turned out it ONLY costs P270. In a snap I asked her to add it to my list. Talk about being practical.

So let's check out the product...
This is the front part. It contains 9.5 grams.
The back part with the manufacturing date stamped below.
This is how the content looks like- a yellow goo with a mild fruity scent.
After I spread it out with my finger, it instantly turned out pink with little not-so-obvious glitters. It is a bit of vivid pink when I applied it on my lips.
The color and little shimmer's still there after wiping it off with a tissue and washing the dishes.

My final thoughts:
I love and will always love this product! If you are the lazy type who wants a product with multiple benefits I highly recommend this tint gloss. It's a tint. It's a gloss. It is pigmented so you don't have to apply a lot to get satisfying results. The color lasts so you don't have to reapply. I would suggest just to apply a lip balm or.a separate gloss after a few hours so it will still stand out. I give the Skinfood Fresh Fruit Tint Gloss a 5 out of 5 rating!
