Skinfood Black Pomegranate Premium Kit Review

It is another Skinfood review day my dear readers! Not to mention another way overdue product review. The product I will review today is one of the 2 lines from Skinfood that I love...the black pomegrante line. This line focuses on anti-aging and a little on brightening the skin.

Months ago, I did a review about the Black Pomegranate Emulsion and since I found it effective, I always wanted to have a regular sized of that or a set if budget permits. Anyway, last December, I was sent 2 boxes of this kit by one online seller that wanted to be anonymous hahaha. When I opened the package I was so happy because my wish came true.

The Black Pomegranate Premium Kit consists of 4 products from the line: a 10ml toner and emulsion, a 5mg cream, and 8ml voluming serum. We use this set in this order: toner > voluming serum> emulsion> cream. I used these at night time because it is moisturizing. They all have this mild fruity scent.

First let me talk about the toner and emulsion. Both contains 10ml of product. The toner is watery in consistency while the emulsion is a bit thick and white. The toner claims to give soft and supple skin. Apply it on skin using a cotton pad/ball and pat skin for better absorption. The emulsion claims to make skin soft and plump. IMO, there is nothig too special about the toner. It cleanses skin gently and that's it. I can always use my Wonder Pore toner as an alternative. It is cheaper compared to this toner anyway. The emulsion gave me instant soft and plump skin the next day. That's the reason why I fell in love with this line. I saw and felt the difference.

The voluming serum is contained in a cute bottle with pump. It is a bit thick in consistency but not as thick as the emulsion. I am not sure if the sample serum has the powder content like its big bottle counterpart. This serum claims to hydrate, illuminate and plump the skin. You need to wait a little for the skin to absorb it before applying the emulsion.

The last one is the cream. It is stored in a tiny little plastic jar. The opening is big enough for a finger to fit in. It has a thick consistency and it is very oily for my skin so I only use this at night and use only a little amount. This cream claims to give one a luminous and resilient skin and has anti-wrinkle effect. This cream is perfect for dry skin. It gives you a boost of moisture while you sleep.

PROS:
- live up to its claims
- you can see and feel the effects
- divine fruity scent
- a little amount goes a long way
- nice packaging (both sample and regular sizes)
- non-irritating
- did not cause me any breakouts

CONS:
- (regular size) is pricey
- the kit is hard to find
- the cream is not recommended for oily skin

Overall, I would recommend this line for mature or dry skin. This is also suitable for people looking for a moisture boost at night. I am sad that I wasn't able to show you some before and after pictures of my skin. I was really convinced by this product's effectiveness. It made my skin look and feel soft and plump. I saw significant changes with my skin's texture and glow. Each product included in this line costs more than a thousand each. (Like I always say) Skinfood is pricey. You can save 200-300 bucks when you purchase them online. The best one to have on this line is the emulsion. A bottle can last for months because you don't need much to cover your face and/or neck. If I were to choose this line versus anti-aging products readily available in stores, I would still choose this. The price may be a bit same so I would rather go with something that really works fast. I give this premium kit a 5 out of 5!!!!!

Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask Review

Blackheads and visible pores are a big problem to a lot of people especially to us ladies. It is hard to find a product that really works to fight those two. I have found a good wash-off mask that worked for me. It is Skinfood Egg White Pore Mask.

Skinfood's Egg White Pore Mask claims to penetrate deeply into pores to remove pore clogging oil. It contains albumin that helps firm the skin and reduce pore size. This product is stored in a sturdy plastic tub and contains 100g of product. Ingredients and description about it is written both in English and Hangul. The product's consistency is comparable to a whipped cream so i use a pack brush to apply it. It has a scent same as the Rice Wash-off Mask.

I lost my sd card so I don't have before and after pictures anymore 😣. I first experimented with this mask on my husband's face because he's got more blackheads and bigger pores than me. I applied it on his face for 1 week and it effectively reduced his pores and the big blackheads on his nose were gone. So this mask worked for him though he still preferred the Black Sugar mask.

PROS:
- reduces pore size and blackheads
- a little amount goes a long way
- safe for sensitive skin
- reduces oil production
- easy to remove
- dries easily

CONS:
- a bit pricey when purchased at a Skinfood shop (PhP 615)
- doesn't remove small blackheads
- scent

Overall, this mask is suitable for any skin type. It is effective and lives up to its claims. It doesn't dry skin at all so people with dry skin type will surely benefit from this mask as well. I will give this wonderful mask a 4.5 out of 5 rating!!!

Skinfood Real Fresh Tint Juice Review

Valentine's Day is just around the corner so for this week I will be featuring 2 lip tint brands. I'm sure you ladies want to look extra special for that special day. So let me start the week by sharing my thoughts about Skinfood's Real Fresh Tint Juice.

I bought my 2 tints separately. One was at a Skinfood store for I guess almost 700 pesos and the other one online for 450 pesos. I was attracted by the super cute packaging so I couldn't help but try it and of course lip tints are my weakness so it ended up on my shopping basket. This is btw, my first orchid/purple shade tint. The product is contained in a juice bottle-like container with a doe foot applicator. It has a semi watery creamy consistency. It is pigmented and u can achieve the right color with 2-3 applications.

Above are pictures of the product when applied and removed. I like the result of the colors on my lips. The product doesn't dry lips. And has average staying power after eating or drinking.

PROS:
- buildable color
- doesn't dry lips
- very cute packaging
- travel friendly

CONS:
- expensive
- average staying power

Despite of its cons, I would still wanna try out other shades. This tint is very suitable for starters or those girls addicted to cute stuff. I wouldn't recommend this to girls who hates doing touch ups. Overall, I will give this ultra-cute tint a 3.5 out of 5!

Skinfood Parsley and Mandarin Emulsion Review

Many of us, both men and women struggle with pimples, acne and skin irritation. Oftentimes, it is a trial-and-error thing to look for a product or product line that really works. Over the holidays, I had a problem dealing with on and off pimples. Yeah it is weird because instead of worrying about dryness due to the weather, it was pimples that I had.

I happened to drop by a Skinfood store at Trinoma last month to check out their sale items. Unfortunately, those on sale were products that were expensive and some were products I am not interested with. Also the sales assistant was not helpful and accomodating at all. She just followed me everywhere I go. I said to myself that that would be the first and last time that I will go inside that store. Anyway, back to the topic, I checked out 2 lines that were suitable for me and it just so happened that I had redness and pimples on my face I want to get rid of so I decided to purchase the Parsley and Mandarin emulsion. This emulsion is smooth-textured that provides soothing relief from skin irritations. The Parsley & Mandarin line is for trouble care. Korean use the term "trouble" instead of pimples or acne.

This emulsion is contained in a glass bottle with 160ml of product inside. It is quite big and fragile. Therefore, not a travel-friendly one. The SA told me that a bottle would last up to 6 months with day and night use. There's this plastic lid you need to remove on top that served as its freshness seal. You just need a small portion to cover the entire face and/or neck. The product is watery but not runny in consistency. It is very light and refreshing when applied. Just apply a moderate amount so your face won't feel sticky. The product gets easily absorbed by the skin which is very good. You won't feel like there is something on your face when you apply the right amount. The smell....I don't like it. It's like topical meds from my dermatologist. Smells like parsley perhaps.

I wasn't able to have a before and after pictures taken so I will just describe it. I had a few scattered pimples on my chin and left cheek and some redness. After 3 days (and nights) of use, my pimples were dried up. Some got smaller the next day and the redness gone overnight. I also noticed that there was moderate sebum production on my t-zone which was very very good. I didn't experience any irritation at all because not only that this product's for troubled skin but it'a also good for sensitive skin.

PROS:
-mild
-effective in controlling pimples and skin irritations
-a little sebum control (which is a bonus)
-a bottle can last for months

CONS:
-glass bottle
-not travel-friendly
-the scent

Overall, this emulsion from Skinfood is perfect for both men and women with pimples/acne and some skin irritations and at the same time with sensitive skin. This is good for day and night use. The verdict, a 4.5 out of 5!!!!

Skinfood Nail Vita Essence Review

For quite sometime, I was in search for an easy to use and mess-free nail care product. I have sick nails (I won't bother tell the story) and to refrain me from getting bothered by how worse my nails look I often end up having sorts of nail polish to cover it up. But as you all know by now, often application of nail polish damages the nails. We need days or weeks apart without polish to make our nails breathe. Also some contain chemicals that harm it so whether it is chemical free or not let us take some time off without polish.

Having said that, I have a few nail care products on my stash (Korean brand of course) to take care of my nails whether I have nail polish or not which I will review sooner or later. But today I will start with a review about one of Skinfood's nail care products- the Nail Vita Essence. According to the label, it contains vitamins and keratin. Its advance formula colors and covers in one quick, mistake-proof stroke. Prior to purchasing, I thought this was like a nail polish like thing which contained nail care ingredients because I used to have a nail product that claimed to whiten nails. It has the same creamy white color. But instead of whitening, it made my nails freakin' yellowish. This one is creamy like in consistency. Like it has oil or something like that.

I bought this on ebay for just 89 bucks. I don't know how much exactly this one costs in stores. Perhaps 200 or something. Anyway, like I mentioned, this one has a creamy texture. I thought this was like a nail care-base coat hybrid but it's not. It's kinda oily and moist when applied. You can apply 1-2 coats on each nail. I apply this day and night when I have no nail polish on. It is opaque when applied. It has this creamy lotion like scent that reminds me of granny. It does not dry fast. You may rub it around your nail if you don't want a pile of liquid on your nails.

Here's a before and after photo with the nail essence on. If you will look closely, before application, my nail was yellowish with ridges and obviously unhealthy. After 2 coats got absorbed, my nail looked healthy, shiny and ridges were sorta filled.

PROS:
- affordable online (even with shipping fee)
- doesn't smell like chemical
- easy to use and mess-free
- brush is of good quality
- makes nails look happy and healthy
- a bottle can last long even when used regularly

CONS:
- oil leaks when cap is not tightly shut
- polish won't adhere much when applied underneath
- does not dry quickly

This product is quite a keeper for me because it is easy to use and instantly makes my nails look okay. Men and women can benefit from this product. Of course, one must not fully rely on its benefits. We should also practice healthy eating habits and nail grooming to keep our nails healthy. I give this product a 5 out of 5!!!!

Sample Review: Skinfood Premium Tomato Line

I have quite a number of sample products and mini kits here so I decided to do a mini review after I finish using each one of them. A mini review because they are only samples and they may or may have instant or noticeable effects when and while using them. They are also skin care product samples and not make up samples. Make up samples can have an in-depth review compared to skin care samples.

I receive a number of samplers with each purchase I make especially online purchases because online sellers are more generous (unconditionally generous IMO) unlike actual stores. But I would have to make an exemption when referring to actual shop this time...the Skinfood kiosk at Wellworth Fairview Terraces. The saleslady assigned there was friendly and generous and not to mention, knows a lot about each product she's selling. I just forgot to ask her name. Anyway, she gave me quite a number of samples and the product I will review today's one of the few she gave- Skinfood's Premium Tomato Line. It includes a toner, essence, emulsion, and cream (used in that order).

The Premium Tomato line targets skin whitening. Its main ingredients are tomato extract and vitamin C derivative. The picture above is how the actual sizes looks like. This line also includes a milky face pack (wash-off mask) and a sleeping mask. Those 2 are add-ons to the basic inclusions. Each product has different tomato extract content. The toner has 10%, essence has 30%, emulsion and cream has 20%.

The samples I got does not have anything written in English except the name of the product so I had to rely on Skinfood's website for details. The toner included was good for single use but all I can say is that it is effective in removing dirt on my face that I have accumulated the whole day. The amount was so few I was not able to detect if there was any scent present. The only thing I did not like was face felt sticky. The essence has a watery consistency and absorbs quickly. The emulsion was translucent white and a bit thick compared to the essence. The cream was white and thick but glided on skin easily and smoothly. The essence, emulsion, and cream has the same divine scent as the black pomegranate emulsion but only lighter but I like it. The quantity of the product shown on the pictures are the actual quantity I used to cover my entire face. So a little goes a long way don't you think? I also applied a little amount on my neck.

I used the samples before bedtime because they felt heavy on the skin and they have no oil control claims. They didn't get absorbed easily and felt sticky unlike the other (usual) night time products I use. The good thing about this line was I woke up with fresh and soft skin. After a few nights of using this, I noticed my skin became brighter, softer, fresher, and the pimple marks slightly improved. I also noticed how soft my skin was after rinsing it in the morning using a facial foam. I have not experienced such soft skin sensation with other overnight products I have used. I cannot attest the overall whitening effect though because I only used samples and I was born with a yellowish white complexion so I am not much into whitening facial skin care stuff.

I was impressed with the samples from this line. But since I am not into whitening products for my face, I have no plans of purchasing the big ones. The normal sizes are expensive. I guess people looking for whitening products but are on a budget will stay away from these. Well, Skinfood is expensive here and that's the harsh fact we have to accept. My score for this samples? 4 out of 5!

Skinfood Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream Review

Are you a concealer dependent type of person? Are you one of those struggling with war against dark circles? Have you tried different types of concealers and still in search for the right one to solve your problems? Wouldn't it be nice to use a concealer that is specially made to solve your dark circle concern? If your screaming Hell Yeah to all those questions well look no further. Today I will share with you my views about this freakin' awesome concealer from Skinfood. Today's spotlight is on Skindfood's Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream.

Contains 10 grams of cream in a thick plastic container with a plastic vintage looking twist cap. This container is loaded with product so it's worth it.
Under the container is a sticker that you can flip. It's got English and Hangul description of the concealer. The manufacturing and expiry date is stamped at the bottom as well.
The top view of the product. a drawing of a salmon fish there. The little container is full. I got mine in shade #2, Salmon Beige. This concealer contains Salmon extract and oil.
I bought this concealer last summer for almost 700 bucks (pricey in stores). This is available in 2 shades- Salmon Blooming (yellowish beige) and Salmon Beige (orangey beige). I got mine in Salmon Beige because it is the closest to my skin tone. These two shades only suit fair skin. Below are pictures of my (horrendous) face with and without the concealer. I only used the concealer on these pictures. No foundation nor BB cream.

I have dark undereye circles. I have them since I was little. It does not appear as dark as they are in person. But they are dark purple especially when I lack sleep. Thank goodness I don't have eyebags because a combo of both is like living my entire life in torment. Looking at the 3rd picture, the side with concealer appears noticeably brighter and the other side looks dull. On the 4th picture notice my pimple marks on the chin. Look how obvious they are and how rough my chin looks. Awful! After applying concealer, the marks were almost gone and my chin appeared smooth and bright. Please note that the amount I used was just a dab or two to cover the flaws.Remember DAB (not glide) your finger, preferably the pinkie or ring finger to apply the product or use a concealer brush. I personally prefer dabbing it because it a thicker amount is applied each time.

This concealer has a creamy (oily) consistency. It glides smoothly and a little dabbing is enough to do the trick. It contains Salmon oil. The good thing about this concealer is that (like what is written on the packaging) it is like second skin. It does not clump even if I apply 3 -5 layers on my dark circles. I use this to hide blemishes as well. Apply your concealer after foundation or bb cream. Then set the concealer with a finishing powder.

PROS:
- hides dark circles and blemishes almost perfectly
- smooth creamy texture
- packed with Salmon oil
- sturdy container
- does not clump at all
- does not fill out lines in the eye area
- long lasting
- a little amount is needed every application
- container is full

CONS:
- smells like oil
- shades are limited
- pricey
- sticky

Despite of the product's flaws, it is still a must-buy. The results I have achieved in using this concealer were remarkable. I have used quite a number of concealers (stick, cream, and liquid types) in the past but nothing can compare to this concealer by Skinfood. This will be my permanent concealer in my stash as long as Skinfood offers this. I give this baby a 5 out of 5 rating for its awesomeness!!!

Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off Review

Today's spotlight is on another of Skinfood's popular mask- Rice Mask Wash Off. This is my second mask off this popular Korean brand. Skinfood is popular for its masks. They offer more than a dozen mask from wash off to paper masks. So many I just wanna have all of them. According to their website, this wash off mask contains rice extract that moisturizes and brightens tone. with its texture of ground rice, it leaves skin bright, soft, and luxurious.

To use this mask, simply apply the desired amount on your face after washing, focusing on the nose area. Wait for 10-15 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. On both website and product itself, it didn't mention how many times in a week one should use this product.

The Rice Mask is in a white sturdy plastic tub containing 100 grams. Each tub is full which is one of the reason why I love about Skinfood masks. Same as with the other masks it has a plastic lid to secure the product inside. The tub has both English and Hangul description written on the sides. The product's manufacturing and expiration dates are stamped. The mask is colored white and has this creamy old floral scent. I don't like the scent sorry. The product's texture is creamy ans smooth with rice grain particles. These particles are not as hard and abrasive as the Black Sugar Mask. It feels like there are these big beads gliding on your face. These particles are not as many and solid as the black sugar. You can feel the cream more than the particles.I feel the need to add more as I massage my face with the product.

PROS:
- sturdy tub
- content is full upon purchase
- rice grains are mild for scrubbing
- moisturizing
- does not trigger excess oil production
- brightening
- improves skin tone
- packed with nutrients
- non-irritating
- does not cause breakout
- a tub can last for months

CONS:
- the old school scent
- not that exfoliating
- the need for me to apply more to exfoliate my skin

Same as the Black Sugar Wash Off masks, this is also an exfoliant. But I don't find it near that purpose. I find the grains' purpose is to massage the skin instead of exfoliating. I use this alternately with my other masks. I also place this inside the fridge for more cooling effect. I tried using this for 4 days in a row and I never experienced any negative reaction on my skin. After using this during daytime I notice my face became radiant and the tone improved. When I look in the mirror. My face does not appear nor feel tight and dry (prior to using toner and moisturizer). This mask is more suitable for people with dry, normal, or combination skin as this product is more on the moisturizing side. People like me with oily skin can benefit from this wonderful mask if used 1-2 times a week. I won't recommend this to people with acne and lesions on their skin though. Thoughts on repurchasing a tub? Ummm...perhaps i will repurchase once I run out of it. It is good to have a mask like this when I need a weekly moisturizing boost. I give this little precious a 5 out of 5!!!!

Skinfood Black Pomegranate Emulsion Sampler Review

I have tried a couple of emulsions from my stash of samplers here. Most of them are for oily skin. Almost all Korean skin care brands offer emulsions for various skin concerns. Emulsions acts as a light moisturizer. Most are the 2nd or 3rd step for a Korean skin care routine (after toner usually). They are usually a borderline between watery and creamy in consistency. If a brand's skin care line offers a serum/ampoule, emulsions serves as 2nd step and is usually used during daytime because of its consistency.

I was recently given this emulsion sampler sachet from Skinfood last week. It came with a toner from its Black Pomegranate line as well but it was good for a single use that's why I cannot include so much about it here. All I can say about it was it deeply removed my makeup and skin dirt in one sweep unlike other toners I have tried. Anyway, let us focus on the emulsion instead. I decided to write a review about it before I throw the sachet away because I instantly fell in love with this particular product.

This emulsion is used to make skin soft and plump according to the Skinfood website. This line consists of several products I cannot clearly remember. The normal packaging of this product is a red/black glass bottle with 150 ml of the product. It smells divine. The product itself is milky white and is slightly creamy in texture. It is a bit thick as well so a tiny drop can almost cover your entire face. I use this on my neck as well. Of course the skin on our neck needs hydration as well. This tiny sampler lasted for 5 nights.

PROS:
- moisturizing/hydrating
- skin will look and feel refreshed and plump
- smells great
- a tiny drop can cover the entire face/neck
- gives immediate results
- did not cause any breakouts

CONS:
- (the actual size is) pricey
- sticky and/or heavy when applied excessively

The result was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! For 5 days I woke up with hydrated, smooth, plump skin. No kidding. No exaggeration. This was the FIRST emulsion I have ever used that gave IMMEDIATE RESULTS. I recommend this product for people who want to have instant results. For people with dry skin and are looking for anti-aging product that delivers its promise. If you have normal/combination or oily skin like mine and still want a dose of hydration, I suggest you try this emulsion and use it at night only before dozing off to dreamland. I will definitely purchase the one in the bottle as soon as I have saved enough for it because a bottle is more than a thousand bucks online and in stores. The verdict? 5 out of 5 for this heaven sent product!!!!

Skinfood Egg White Nose Pack (Cool Down) Review

Hi guys! I am back with a little review about this product I recently purchased at Skinfood- Egg White Nose Pack (Cool Down). I purchased this together with their nose strip but I already used it. I will just make a review of that next time I purchase one again. Anyway, the saleslady offered me this because she said I need this as my pores are open after I'm done with the nose strip. Though  a bit hesitant I just gave it a shot. No harm in trying right?

So what does this thing do? According to the packet, it is a hydrogel nose pack that contains egg white (which is loaded with albumin) and soothes freshly exfoliated skin. I am using it right now as I am writing this entry. The strip looks the same as the nose strip we use to remove blackheads. The only difference is that it is applied on dry skin and the back part is made of gel like substance that sticks well on skin. It is a bit cool when you stick it on your nose and it has a mild scent. The strip must stay on your nose for 10 minutes and after that apply toner and moisturizer. Since I have lots of time in my hands, I let it stick on my nose for 20 minutes..By the way, my apologies for posting a nasty photo there. I have already tore the pack before deciding to write a review.

The result: I did not see any changes at all! What a waste of money. The pore size is still the same. It got smaller after I applied toner. I won't purchase this ever again. I give this baby a 1 out of 5!

Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash-Off (Gold Special Edition) Review

Applying masques and exfoliating my skin are two important steps in one's weekly skin care regimen. There are several types of masques out in the market and we buy the ones that suits our skin type or skin concern. Since I have oily skin with large pores I prefer the clay type. But I have several types of masques in my stash. I also exfoliate my face once or twice a week. People with oily skin should avoid doing this step very often as it triggers oil glands to secrete more oil. I learned that the hard way so I make sure I make it up for those stupid times.

This product we're going to talk about is one product that acts as both masque and face scrub. It is one of Skinfood's best-selling product for 10 years now. It is the Black Sugar Mask Wash-Off. What I have here is their 10th anniversary Gold Special Edition. It contains gold speckles apart from the black sugar as its main ingredient. Gold is used as an anti-aging ingredient in skin care products nowadays.

Skinfood's Black Sugar line's launched their gold edition masque and Perfect First Serum. Both have gold speckles in it. There are 3 types of Black Sugar Mask Wash-off: Black Sugar, Strawberry Black Sugar, and Black Sugar Honey. They have different consistencies, scents, and added benefits. According to Skinfood's website this product is enriched with vitamins and minerals and effectively exfoliates dead skin that prevents makeup application, while revitalizing skin. Reading the description, it acts as as a scrub but categorized as a wash-off mask. IMO, using this product both ways will give spectacular results especially the one the one that I have here because it has gold contents.

The product is almost full upon purchase (like the one in the picture). I hope the tub was so full not the sides of the top of the tub. It is sealed with plastic. It also has a white plastic lid to protect the contents. The masque is quite solid. You can easily feel the sugar particles. It smells like a lemon flavored candy which I like. If you click the 2nd picture, you can see the tiny gold specks. The Black Sugar has big sugar particles compared to the other 2 types.

To use this masque, you must first wash your face. Apply the desired amount on your face (damp skin is recommended for the sugar to easily melt as you scrub), avoiding the eye and mouth areas. Mix with water or toner to reduce skin irritation, and massage. Wait 10-15 minutes then rinse with warm water. In my case I let it stay for 20-30 minutes. By the way, this particular product is not suitable for people with sensitive and acne-prone skin because the sugar particles are quite big and abrasive.

I have been using this product for 4 days now and I have not experienced any redness or itchiness on my skin. Since this was just purchased recently, I use it nightly to observe whether or not there will be immediate results. For 2 days I focus on scrubbing my nose and the sides because my pores are big there and also my chin because it is always bumpy with whiteheads. On the 3rd day (and succeeding days perhaps) my focus was just my chin and near my lips to avoid white and blackheads. I have also tried this on my neck and it was great. I make sure my face is damp to almost wet so the sugar particles will glide and melt easily as I massage my face. It rinses away easily and you won't feel any stickiness whatsoever. After rinsing, I immediately apply toner and moisturizer.

Since this is also a scrub with big particles I thought my face would turn out worse. Meaning, with redness, itchiness, bumps, and tons of oil. But it did exactly the opposite! I noticed my skin is brighter, looks plump and healthy, my pimple scars are lighter than usual, pores are smaller and clean, less and less bumps. Having experienced these awesome results I am now one of the many believers of this product. Now I fully understand why this product is such a hit in Korea and people have nothing but praises for it. THIS PRODUCT IS JUST FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!

PROS:
- a 2-in-1 product
- gentle on skin despite of the sugar particles
- a little amount can cover the whole face
- gives you a soft and smooth skin
- lessens oil secretion
- lessens bumps and whiteheads
- did not cause breakouts
- tub is almost full upon purchase

CONS:
- not much hydrating
- a bit abrasive
- almost solid consistency
- (some) may need a spoon or spatula to take the product out of the tub
- pricey

The score? Obviously, a whopping 5 out of 5!

(Note to my dear Hubby: Dee, sorry I did not tell you that I bought this one last time. You know how I want this so badly. This was also the last one in stock so it was meant to be don't you think *puppy eyes*? Feel free to use this one anytime.Hating kapatid tayo jan gya sa toner. Mwahmwah)

Skinfood Fresh Fruit Tint Gloss Review

Happy Halloween guys!

Welcome to my little space. This is my very first entry and today I will be reviewing my new acquisition for my tint family- Skinfood's Fresh Fruit Tint Gloss Banana tint.

I received this baby today courtesy of one of my fave sellers on Instagram- hellogorgeous17. She sells korean stuff at a reasonable price...and I mean REASONABLE! You will soon find out why.

I am a bit of a sucker for organic or nature friendly beauty stuff and Skinfood's one of those brands which offers makeup and beauty products made from natural products. I fell in love with this tint when I was scouting for a concealer. The saleslady asked me to try it out and I instantly fell for it. Unfortunately I did not purchase it right.away because I find P600+ pricey for a tint. Since I am addicted to online shopping I asked my friend/seller hellogorgeous17 to scout how much it costs in korea. And it turned out it ONLY costs P270. In a snap I asked her to add it to my list. Talk about being practical.

So let's check out the product...
This is the front part. It contains 9.5 grams.
The back part with the manufacturing date stamped below.
This is how the content looks like- a yellow goo with a mild fruity scent.
After I spread it out with my finger, it instantly turned out pink with little not-so-obvious glitters. It is a bit of vivid pink when I applied it on my lips.
The color and little shimmer's still there after wiping it off with a tissue and washing the dishes.

My final thoughts:
I love and will always love this product! If you are the lazy type who wants a product with multiple benefits I highly recommend this tint gloss. It's a tint. It's a gloss. It is pigmented so you don't have to apply a lot to get satisfying results. The color lasts so you don't have to reapply. I would suggest just to apply a lip balm or.a separate gloss after a few hours so it will still stand out. I give the Skinfood Fresh Fruit Tint Gloss a 5 out of 5 rating!
