Innisfree Fest 2: Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam Review

This is part 2 of 3 of my Innisfree Fest post and today I will be featuring another product very suitable for people with oily or combination skin, the Jeju Volcanic Pore Cleansing Foam.

This is the first step of the Jeju Volcanic line (obviously you need to wash your face first right?). The main ingredient of this cleanser Jeju Volcanic Cluster. Volcanic clusters have strong oil/sebum absorptive ability and is effective in removing oil and trouble- causing impurities in pores. According to the Innisfree website, this is a pore cleansing foam with Jeju volcanic clusters to attach to sebum and purify pores. I bought this baby from hellogorgeous17, one of my "suking" seller. I purchased it because it suits my skin condition and there are a lot of positive reviews about it. But is my opinion gonna be the same as other bloggers' opinion. We'll find out.

Above are pictures of the product. I bought the 150 ml size to test whether it will suit me or not. This is also available in 300 ml. The content is white with little red brown beads which I guess are the volcanic stuff. This baby lathers a lot but not in a super bubble fest kind of way. Just a little amount (I use a size as little as my pinkie nail) can cover my entire face and neck.

The top picture is my hand with some hard to remove lippies and eyeliner. If you will look closely there is still a very small amount of the pink lipstick. The one below is me. Left pics are before and those at the right are the after. I don't know if you will notice but the reddish area are not that noticeable and my face became a bit brighter. Yesterday my husband used it and I noticed that his skin became brighter and pores became a bit smaller. You see it is easier to observe other people's face than my own. And what's that pink heart-shaped thing ? Well, it is my ever-reliable silicone face brush. I use that when my face and neck is already filled with suds.

PROS
- a tiny amount is all you need to clean your face and neck
- controls oil production compared to what I was using before
- no harmful ingredients
- makes skin bright and smooth
- the volcanic clusters are gentle on skin
- reasonably priced (PhP 400 for a 150 ml tube) for an Innisfree product

CONS
- it break me out a bit (like 2 tiny pimples)
- may dry your skin
- available online (I hope there will be an Innisfree store here in the Philippines)
- some may find it expensive  for a facial foam/wash

To sum things up...I recommend this facial foam to people like me suffering from excess oil/sebum on their faces. If you have dry or normal skin it's fine to use this as long as you use it like once a day and apply a moisturizer. I give this baby a 4 1/2  out of 5!
